Test proctoring services are available free on request. Individuals must make arrangements in advance in order to have their tests proctored by Library personnel. Send an email to email@example.com to request a single proctoring session or, if it is an ongoing proctoring request, to set up a proctoring account and schedule. Please note that proctoring MUST BE scheduled in advance and is available only during specific hours.
Valley City State University and Allen Memorial Library offer several services to assist you in preparing for national examinations such as the Praxis, SAT, and the GED. The resources are both in print and online.

The VCSU Learning Center is located in Room 005 in the lower level of Vangstad Hall and is open during all regular class days and closed during holidays and semester breaks. TutorND offers FREE online tutoring and academic resources from Tutor.com for North Dakota residents. Get live help from a tutor in major subjects like math, science, social studies, English, or even assistance with your job search. The service can be accessed from any North Dakota library or from your home computer. If you are a VCSU student, you DO NOT need to apply for a Library card. When you are prompted for a login, just use your Blackboard login and password information.
After you enter TutorND, note that "live services" are available only during specific hours, but that the resources area available 24/7. You do not need to create a Tutor.com account or sign in to access resources. However, free account will allow you to access these additional features:
